The Global Jazz Club (GJC): Founded in 2020 by Patricia and Danilo Pérez in response to the closing of many jazz clubs during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Global Jazz Club worked virtually for 2020 and 2021. In April of 2022, the club opens with in-person concerts in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts. The Global Jazz Club is the first club dedicated to Womxn in Jazz and the practice of what Terri Lyne Carrington calls 'Jazz Without Patriarchy.
